VIII INTERNATIONAL SCIENTIFIC SYMPOSIUM “Microorganisms and their metabolites”

The Department of Biotechnology and Food Microbiology together with the Warsaw Branch of the Polish Society of Food Technologists and the Committee of Food Sciences and Nutrition of the Polish Academy of Sciences organize:

VIII MIĘDZYNARODOWE SYMPOZJUM NAUKOWE „Drobnoustroje i ich metabolity” 8th International Scientific Symposium “Microorganisms and Their Metabolites”

which will take place on May 28-29, 2025.

“Ladies and Gentlemen,

Once again, we will have the honor of meeting you at the 8th International Scientific Symposium entitled „Drobnoustroje i ich metabolity”.

We cordially invite scientists and PhD students who study microorganisms in the broad context of their applications in food production and who develop new methods of combating microbiological threats in the food industry.

During the symposium, in the Food Microbiology Session, we will discuss innovative solutions aimed at eliminating food spoilage microorganisms and foodborne pathogens.

The Food Biotechnology Session will cover issues related to the regulation of microbiological processes in food production, obtaining valuable metabolites and their use to create new food products and improve the quality of existing ones.

In this edition, we are planning 15-minute oral presentations and e-posters.”
