How does the Warsaw University of Life Sciences support Ukraine?
Each subsequent day of the war is an unimaginable drama of millions of people who experience cruelty and bestiality. This is the drama of our friends and friends – those we know personally – students, doctoral students and employees; but also those unknown – friends in need. WULS-SGGW was not indifferent from the very beginning. WULS-SGGW has been helping from the very beginning.
Already on February 24, 2022, on the day of unprecedented aggression against Ukraine, WULS-SGGW showed its firm opposition to this aggression, while emphasizing its support for the sovereign and independent nation of Ukraine.
Financial support
SGGW launched a MoneyBox to collect resources earmarked to help Ukraine. The funds are to be transferred to the account of one of the aid foundations, which will transfer them forward to organizations directly involved in helping people in need, currently operating in Ukraine.
The fundraising campaign to help members of the academic community from the University of Kyiv is being launched by the SGGW Doctoral School: https://www.sggw.edu.pl/zbiorka-pieniedzy-na-pomoc-czlonkom-spolecznosci-akademickiej-z-ukrainy/
