Katarzyna Samborska in the Program Board of the Science Festival in Warsaw
The mission of the Festival is to popularize science. The festival gives everyone the opportunity to commune with science, learn about its methods and achievements, encourages you to deepen your knowledge. During the festival meetings, the achievements of science and the challenges it faces are presented. The role of science in the modern world, the usefulness and beauty of scientific research and findings, and their practical effects on economic development and social change are shown. Particular attention is paid to the achievements of Polish scientists.
The Program Council of the Science Festival, to which Katarzyna Samborska from the Institute of Food Sciences of the Warsaw University of Life Sciences was appointed, consists of scientists from various fields and scientific disciplines. The tasks of the council include at least determining the leading topics and issues and composition of participants of the main debates, jubilee and special lectures, as well as general substantive control and evaluation of festival meetings.
