Research interests: biotechnological use of microorganisms (distilling, yeast, use of propionic bacteria) and food microbiology. The currently implemented research topics are: utilization of waste materials by microorganisms and the use of their metabolites, monitoring of microbiological contamination of food with the use of modern techniques (e.g. thermovision or FT-IR spectroscopy)
