8TH FOOD ENGINEERING SYMPOSIUM
The Department of Food Engineering and Process Management together with the Committee on Food Science and Nutrition of the Polish Academy of Sciences, the Warsaw Branch of the Polish Society of Food Technologists and the Warsaw Branch of the Polish Agrophysical Society are organizing the next, 8th FOOD ENGINEERING SYMPOSIUM, which will take place on July 2-3, 2024 on our campus.
Food Engineering Symposia have been held regularly since 2008, they are a platform for exchanging experiences and views in the field of food technology and biotechnology, chemistry, process engineering, energy and agrophysics. These meetings contribute to the integration of the scientific community and gather a wide group of participants.
The Symposia programme includes plenary lectures on unit processes in food processing, physical properties of raw materials and products, energy and environmental protection, as well as issues related to the organisation of production, which are delivered by invited speakers – the most outstanding specialists from Poland and abroad.
Conference participants have the opportunity to present their own research results in the form of oral communications or during media poster sessions. The organizers also make an effort to additionally organize thematic workshops especially for young scientific staff.
